Party. That one word had been buzzing all around Lancaster that afternoon, and it had also been bouncing around in one Charlotte Reese’s head. She had never been the party girl; she wasn’t one who got drunk and did drugs and all so parties had never really been her forte, but after much convincing, she figured that she’d take a swing at this one. The main thing driving her was the fact that everyone would be there, and she wanted to see some faces that she hadn’t seen in awhile. She’d already promised herself that she wouldn’t go near the alcohol, but instead the people that she’d missed. After lying under the radar for a good amount of time, the only thing she wanted to do was reconnect with the people she knew, and meet the ones she didn’t. That was Charlie’s mission for the night.
Walking along the sidewalk, she tried to think of the last time she’d seen Aryana Monroe, one of the girls that she considered her best friends. It had been awhile, and the honey blonde missed her dearly. There was something that Aryana had seemed to want to tell Charlie, and there was no better time than the present. So the two had decided on getting ready for the party tonight as a little catch up time between them. Aryana Monroe lived a very different lifestyle from Charlie, but yet the two had somehow or other formed what Charlie hoped was a very strong friendship. She finally reached the door to Aryana’s place, and knocked on the door in a little rhythmic pattern.
